2kg ABC Dry Powder Fire Extinguisher

This 2kg ABC dry powder fire extinguisher is manufactured in the European Union to the requirements of EN3 and is CE marked. It is also quality kitemark certified to BS EN3.

The stored-pressure ABC powder extinguisher is suitable for use on Class A, B and C fires in offices, commercial premises and industrial premises. It is highly effective against petrol and volatile liquids, making it well suited to vehicle protection.

ADR vehicle fire extinguisher requirements

To comply with the requirements of ADR, all vehicles carrying any quantity of dangerous goods, other than dangerous goods packed as Limited Quantities, must carry a minimum of 1 two kilo fire extinguisher.

If the vehicle is carrying a dangerous goods load greater than that allowed under the small load concessions, zero kilo TC 0, 25 kilo TC 1, 333 kilo TC 2 and 1,000 kilo TC 3, then the quantity of fire extinguishers required depends on the size of the vehicle:

• Less than 3.5 tonne: 2 x 2 kilo extinguishers
• 3.5 tonne to 7.5 tonne: 1 x 2 kilo and 1 x 6 kilo extinguisher
• Greater than 7.5 tonne: a total of 12 kilo, of which one extinguisher shall be at least 6 kilo
