Folding Orange ADR Plate 300 x 400mm

This folding orange ADR plate is designed for vehicles carrying dangerous goods in packages above the ADR load threshold. It provides a highly reflective hazchem orange plate that can be displayed when required and folded closed when dangerous goods are not being carried.

ADR plate requirement

All vehicles carrying dangerous goods in packages above the load threshold must display a hazchem orange plate measuring 300 x 400mm. The plate must be reflective and weather resistant, and the plate shall not become detached from its mount in the event of 15 minutes engulfment of fire. The plate is required to be attached to the front and rear of the vehicle.

Robust folding design

This highly reflective orange plate is made from robust stainless steel, offering a durable alternative that will outlast cheaper galvanised versions. When carrying dangerous goods, the plate is held open with the toggle clasp. When no dangerous goods are being carried, the Hazchem plate can be folded closed and held in place with the other toggle clasp.

Because the plate can remain fixed to the vehicle, it helps reduce the risk of it being misplaced, lost or stolen between journeys.
