Folding Aluminium Limited Quantities (LQ) ADR Panel
ADR requirement - This sign must be displayed on all vehicles carrying more than 8,000 kilo of dangerous goods in limited quantities. One sign is required on the front and rear from 1 January 2011, unless the vehicle is carrying a dangerous goods load and therefore displaying orange plates.
For carriage by sea all cargo transport units carrying dangerous goods packed in limited quantities are required to display the LQ sign on two sides and the rear, for shipping containers the sign is required on all four sides.
This sign is manufactured from Aluminium so won't rust. It is supplied with toggle clasps that are easy to use and will hold the sign in place open or closed. When carrying dangerous goods hold the plate open with the toggle clasp and when no dangerous goods are being carried the Hazchem plate can be folded closed and held in place with the other toggle clasp. With the plate always fixed to the vehicle, it's very unlikely that it will be misplaced, lost or stolen.
These signs can be adapted for use with other classes by using the appropriate self-adhesive label.
