This anti-static two piece shovel is designed as a practical, lightweight shovel for spill response, cleaning and general handling tasks. It can be assembled when needed by screwing the handle shaft into the blade section, with a reinforced joint to help keep the shovel strong and robust in use.

ADR requirement: vehicles carrying dangerous goods of classes 3, 4.1, 4.3, 8 and 9 are required to carry a shovel.

Manufactured from high grade polymer material, this two piece shovel is lightweight but virtually unbreakable, having been tested to almost 40 tonne. It is rot and rust proof, easy to clean, and has rounded edges. The shovel is suitable for contact with food and meets the requirements of HACCP.

The shovel is moulded with a special additive to create a conductive material with the ability to help dissipate static electrical charges. It is useful in many situations, including cleaning up after a spillage where safe to do so, mucking out horses, spreading antifreeze salt on a road surface, or general cleaning tasks.

Please note: this shovel is not suitable for use in a safety critical environment.
