Magnetic Orange ADR Plate 120 x 300 mm

This magnetic orange ADR plate is designed as a temporary marking option for small vehicles where space is restricted. It is intended for intermittent use or for situations where dangerous goods are being carried in a hired vehicle and fitting standard fixed orange plates would be unacceptable.

The panel is made from strong magnetic flexible sheet, allowing it to be attached and removed without drilling or screwing into the vehicle. It provides a practical alternative to a fixed plate when a temporary solution is required.

ADR plate requirements and limitations

ADR requirements state that all vehicles carrying dangerous goods in packages above the load threshold must display a hazchem orange plate measuring 300 x 400 mm. The plate must be reflective and weather resistant, and it must not become detached from its mount in the event of 15 minutes engulfment of fire. The plate is required to be attached to the front and rear of the vehicle.

These smaller magnetic plates must only be used on small vehicles where space is restricted and are only applicable for vehicles less than 3500 kg. This plate will not meet the fire engulfment stipulations of the ADR regulations and should only be seen as a temporary alternative to fixed plates.
