Nominally empty containers, or containers that have previously contained a hazardous substance or chemical, are still classed as hazardous waste.

Containers that have residue left in them still pose a risk to personal health or the environment, or both.

HazExperts can collect these nominally empty containers, whether they are loose, palletised or in a larger container such as a drum or IBC, and have them processed for recycling.

Having these containers recycled helps protect the environment and ensure that the correct duty of care is followed.

The only exclusions we have by using our online service for this waste stream is that the containers have not previsouly contained any peroxide wastes - this stream needs to be priced on a case by case basis
